1. Advanced Placement?

The Advanced Placement (AP) is a program created by the College Board offering college-level curriculum and examinations to high school students. The AP curriculum for the various subjects is created for the College Board by a panel of experts and college-level educators in each subject.

AP tests are scored on a 1 to 5 scale.

2. Why AP?

Stand Out in College Admissions: By making the decision to take an AP course, you’re letting colleges and universities know that you have what it takes to succeed in an undergraduate environment. They see that you’ve challenged yourself with college-level course work and expectations.

College credits: By entering college with AP credits, you can skip Introductory Classes to move into upper-level courses. This will give you more time in your field of interest, or you can pursue a double major, study master degree... Hence, you can save your money during college.

Confidence: Develop better study habits, improve your writing skills and sharpen your problem-solving abilities. This will give you the confidence to tackle the academic challenges that you can expect in college.
